As a fighting game enthusiast and not just some punk kid who wanted the first review to be a bad one, this game is great, I imported the Japanese version, as long as you purchase the title before 10/20, you are entitled to the bonus digital download of DBZ: Super Butoden 2, a Super Famicom Classic, remade into a 3DS port, which will be emailed to you. There are a ton of characters to choose from, obviously with each of their own set of special and unique moves. There are assist characters that step in to aid combos or support characters, much like there are in the Marvel Vs. series. I've played the entire Butoden series since the original Butoden on Super Famicom. One of my favorite games for SNES/ Super Famicom is DBZ: Super Butoden 2 which is the preorder bonus on Amazon. I still remember the code to unlock Broly and Son Goku. This game feels more like a Persona 4 Arena/ BlazBlue type fighting game, simplistic button style. And all the animations are hand drawn, and resemble a King of Fighters XIII look. All with the original Japanese voices. To reiterate, any real Dragonball or DBZ fan will drool and ask why they did not have this game earlier. And to fight that ridiculous review before mine, there are absolutely no parallels to Pokemon. Dragonball came out years before Pokemon and most of the DBZ Budokai games had you collecting capsules to power up and customize your characters, something they brought back for this game. 10/10
