Got this to protect my daughters new Switch as we were going to be traveling. So glad I found this. It worked like a charm, Switch is still intact as is my peace of mind.Perfect fit for our Switch. The feel is very smooth and has a natural grip.It protects the Nintendo switch which is exactly what we wanted.After a lot of research, I recently purchased three different Switch cases. They each had different pros and cons, and had different purposes, but each seemed to be the best in their respective categories. I bought one of the many generic clear plastic cases (they're all pretty similar) for light use at home, this FINITE case as the rugged and thick one for potentially dangerous or dirty use (e.g. camping, travel, road trips, etc.), and the Skull & Co case as the middle ground between those two extremes, that could potentially replace one or both of the others.What I found was that the clear plastic case felt extremely flimsy and brittle. I was terrified of snapping it in half while putting it on and taking it off, and taking it off took forever because of that. I definitely would not want to drop the switch on a hard ground while it had that clear plastic case on. So I'm going to return it.The Skull & Co case definitely feels the nicest and looks the nicest. The switch blends seamlessly with that case, such that you'd forget that it's even in a case and think that the switch came like that. Plus the fact that the switch can dock while the case is on, and the L and R buttons are completely covered for full protection from dropping on all corners and protection from dust getting into those crevices, made that one a winner.But the FINITE case was excellent for its purpose too, and that was as a rugged outdoor case for travel. If I were to go camping or maybe even do a backpacking trip with the switch, I'd put it in the FINITE. I actually wouldn't want to put it in the Skull & Co case because that case looks almost TOO nice and I want to keep it looking pristine and clean, without nicks and dents on the corners. The FINITE case would be for getting dirty, playing games while outdoors where dust and dirt might get kicked around, where if the case gets dropped it'll hit a rugged and potentially dirty surface. The FINITE case looks like it can take a beating, and it offers the best protection out of the three options, covering all corners like the Skull & Co but with thicker, bouncier padding. Plus some of the case creeps over the front face of the switch too for a little scratch protection, and also prevents more dust and dirt from getting in between the case and the switch. And the opening for the stand to come out means that I can prop it up on a table in a pinch to play with friends, although I'd recommend getting a dedicated switch stand for that, such as the Lamicall Multi-Angle Tablet Stand. But it's good to have that option just in case.So in conclusion, I kept the Skull & Co for daily use around the house and maybe on small trips, but any time I'm feeling paranoid about where I'm taking the switch, I'd definitely put it in the FINITE case. And the clear, brittle plastic case was terrible imo. If you're looking for something pretty and don't care about worst case scenarios, then get the clear brittle case. If you're paranoid like me, tend to break and drop stuff, or plan on using the switch outdoors, then get the FINITE. If you want a middle ground between the two, get the Skull. Or get a combination of the above.It’s worth buying. My son tends to drop his Nintendo a lot and I feel like it has a lot of protection with this case on.Loving it. It protects your Switch, it's easy to put on and take off, it's comfortable to handle, and it's reasonably priced.
